Hong Kong School seeks Waldorf Teacher
A new Waldorf primary school in Hong Kong is seeking…Grade One Class Teacher
Emerson College has been asked to spread the word that a new Waldorf school in Hong Kong seeks a Class 1 teacher.
We are excited to invite a trained and experienced Waldorf class teacher to join us and take our first group of year 1 children starting this fall. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the founding of a new Waldorf school in an urban setting.
We are a new private school to open our doors in September 2017 and will add a grade each year. We are located on the Hong Kong Island, the heart of a vibrant city where East meets West.
We expect to serve a student body with diverse ethnic and cultural background. Our school is founded by a core group of committed parents, supported by educational experts with experience in both mainstream and Waldorf pedagogy.
Interested applicants should be open to making a medium- to long-term commitment to the school. If you join us, your pedagogical work will be supported by a visiting Mentor and a resident Associate Teacher. In addition, a dynamic board of trustees is ready to work hand in hand with you on administrative matters.
We are looking for someone who has a love for children and community building, a dedication to collaborative working and innovation, and a taste for foreign customs and culture.
We offer a competitive salary with increments for teaching experience, health insurance, housing, moving, and travel allowance, and tuition remission for qualified faculty children.
