Biodynamic Botanic Garden

The Biodynamic Botanic Garden at Emerson College is a collaboration between the Emerson College Trustand the NIMH Education Fund with support from the Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) and ArbNet. The purpose of the garden is to unite botany and herbal medicine with biodynamic practice and anthroposophical principles. To create a peaceful, inspirational forum for learning and conservation, for health and wellbeing for all living beings.

The Garden is the first Biodynamic Botanic Garden in the World. Throughout the year we hold Open Day Events to enable people to enjoy and celebrate the natural beauty of this unique garden.

Each Open Day has a different plant inspired theme, below is an example of our Autumn Open Day which celebrated the many relationships between poetry and nature.
