SHORT COURSE: "This that we are now" ~ A week with Rumi

A week with Rumi, guided by Duncan Mackintosh and Ashley Ramsden.

This will be a week to plunge together through the words of Rumi into the mystery of our divine human nature.

Ashley Ramsden and Duncan Mackintosh will provide a space to hear, speak, absorb, soak in, and explore aspects of Rumi's poems and stories.

From these they will draw inspiration for exercises and enquiries, meditations and celebrations - soaking Rumi's 'word seeds' in our mutual presence, our direct experience - that we may unfold and flower deepening realizations of the awakening Mystery that we are. This workshop will not be academic, but an intimate and experiential, held in mutual service to unfolding of the divine presence.

"These teachings are milk from the nipple of the soul. They won’t flow unless you suck! Don’t just admire the jug. Drink the water...Do this work, and eventually you'll begin to hear, inside the maundering drunk talk of the drunkards, the sound of the wine-maker, the presence of the Host who serves this wine to us.”

Ashley and Duncan have worked with and performed Rumi's sublime texts both together and independently for over 30 years, as well as travelling other paths of inner exploration.

Duncan Mackintosh
For over 25 years Duncan has been exploring and leading workshops on a universally accessible spirituality through direct experience of the mystery of ‘Presence’. As well as training in the art of speech in the tradition of Rudolf Steiner, and performing and teaching for many years, he has learned from some of the most cutting edge spiritual teachers of our time, and draws inspiration from the core non-dual teachings of many traditions. He has toured extensively as storyteller, actor, and performer of Rumi. The passion underlying his life and work is for the emerging mystery that we truly are, which is love, to awaken in and as us.
