SHORT COURSE: Mindfulness and The Clown

SHORT COURSE: Mindfulness and The Clown

A playful exploration of Mindfulness and Clowning with Arnaud Durand and Vivian Gladwell.

Clowning invites us to connect lightly and playfully to our emotions without identifying with them, in a non-judgmental way. Clowning also asks us to be powerfully “Present” in the “Here and Now”, to be deeply connected to ourselves, to our partners on stage, the audience and the world.

Breath, listening, stillness and befriending emptiness are all part of how Clowns reveal themselves to us.This workshop will consists of moments of Mindful meditation (introducing beginners to its principles) and moments of playful discovery of our clown.

Complete beginners in both Clowning and Mindfulness are welcome.
