A journey in Story, Sound and Symbol with storyteller Ashley Ramsden and reiki gong master Dean Hallett.
There is no deeper magic than sound. We are made of it. It's vibrations underpin every story, every movement, every utterance we make. Dean Hallett has been a healing practitioner for almost 20 years who has developed his own methods of transformational therapy using ReikiGongs and Tarot symbology. Ashley Ramsden has been telling stories for over 30 years and is the founder of the School of Storytelling at Emerson College. Now, for the first time, they combine their experience in a week of the Deeper Magic: an immersion in sound, story and symbology. The gongs will open you, their vibrations realigning you and giving you wings; you will hear stories and create them out of the genius of your imagination and the Tarot will be there too with all the richness of its symbology to inspire and guide us when we need it.
" You are Treasure Island. The most exciting thing you will ever discover is yourself"
Dean Hallett am a natural healer, Reiki practitioner and ReikiGong sound therapist and have been practicing natural forms of healing for almost 20 years. I have developed my own healing system of working with specially attuned Gongs incorporating unique and powerful healing energy which can help facilitate and support transformation on many levels.
Ashley Ramsden is the founding director of the School of Storytelling, the longest established centre of its kind in the United Kingdom.
He has toured with his remarkable storytelling programmes on all five continents, has appeared at major storytelling festivals in the UK, South Africa, Scandinavia and America.
He is as much at home telling in the Sydney Opera House or alongside the London Symphony Orchestra as he is in your front room. Ashley’s unique methods of teaching voice and the skills of the storyteller have received international acclaim.
