Join medical herbalist Kirsten Hartvig to learn how to deal with minor injuries and illnesses using plants from your local environment.
The workshop is a mixture of theory and practise, and you will be making your own herbal first aid kit.
Kirsten Hartvig ND, MNIMH, DipPhyt is a medical herbalist, registered naturopath, nutritionist, writer, and author of 14 books on herbs and plant foods as medicine.
She is also a keen botanist, cook and herb gardener.
She manages the The Healing Garden, which is the apothecary section of the botanic garden, with Alice Livingstone.
Kirsten also teaches materia medica on the Heartwood Education professional course in herbal medicine.
