Emerson Visual Arts work in China

Rudolf Kaesbach, who leads Emerson Visual Arts and Sculpture Training, recently visited China to deliver the first of a number of courses.

The Waldorf Schools movement in China is expanding rapidly and with it the training for teachers in all subjects.

From Emerson's Visual Arts and Sculpture course we were able to contribute with 'Sculpture for teachers' and 'Pedagogical sculpture' modules.

In February the first of four modules of ten days took place in Chengdu, with 40 participants. It was a workshop full of enthusiasm, creativity and depth.

Here are some pictures that give a taste of the students' experience.
