Annie Blampied-Radojcin

Course Leader - Quietude

Annie is a Hospice Chaplain and OneSpirit Interfaith Minister, with a background in Steiner Waldorf Education. She is also a Mindfulness Teacher, Celebrant, Storyteller, Spiritual Counsellor, Soul Midwife and Authentic Presence Practitioner.

'My back ground is in education. In total, I was involved in Steiner Waldorf education for 25 years. With a PGCE in education, I worked as a primary school teacher, until I moved to Scotland to the Findhorn Foundation. At the Findhorn Foundation I worked as a kindergarten teacher, and was a co-founder of the Moray Steiner school. I was a student at Emerson College from 1986-89. I was then a class teacher at the Brighton Steiner School for five years. We lost a building and I had to give up my class. Georg Locher then invited me to work with him at Emerson College as an Education Course leader from 1995 to 2000. My interest in Interfaith spirituality was influenced by my experiences at Emerson College, where over 30 different nations were often represented, and all colours of faith and belief were expressed. After a two year training I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2004. Since that time I have worked as a Celebrant and Spiritual Counsellor. In more recent years I have been doing a lot of work with those on the threshold of death and dying.  The importance of this work and the experiences that I have had during this time have inspired me to start this training and development course for people wanting to offer spiritual companionship to those who are dying.'
