Emerson offers a range of accommodation throughout the campus. Rooms are simple, clean and welcoming, most with single and some with twin beds. All rooms have shared toilets, bath and shower rooms close by. Most houses have shared kitchen facilities for the preparation of snacks and light meals; lunch is generally taken in the College's dining rooms and all meals can be provided by arrangement.
The accommodation houses provide opportunities to meet and socialise with other residents and guests, as well as quiet rooms for rest and time alone within Emerson's diverse learning community. Each house has its own style and character. The standard is simple but comfortable. Other communal spaces in Pixton House provide the social hub of the campus, with a common room, dining rooms and meeting rooms, as well as two libraries for quiet study. WIFI and internet connections are available in Pixton House.
Accommodation is for students taking part in courses at Emerson, volunteers and individuals on self-guided study and research programmes. As an ecologically aware organisation, we use specific cleaning products and procedures to minimise our impact on the environment and to reduce water use and waste.
