Storytelling Beyond Words End of course celebration

Storytelling Beyond Words End of course celebration
Join the School of Storytelling community for the celebration weekend at the end of the three month Storytelling Beyond Words course.

Meet the imagineurs; imagination entrepreneurs, contemporary storytellers who open spaces for truth speaking, deep listening and creative reflection.

We will begin on Friday 3rd Dec. In the evening, welcoming  our guests with an opening ceremony and story ceilidh. Saturday the 4th Dec is an all day event in which our graduates will be sharing their individual projects and research questions in a celebration of performances, workshops, discussions, story and song. These were created in response to the variety of personal, social and environmental challenges of these times.

Full programme of the performances will be published nearer the time.

We look forward to welcoming you to share our stories and discoveries!

The School of Storytelling

The School of Storytelling, Emerson College, the longest running centre of its kind. Founded in 1994, we continue to run courses and welcome people from all cultures, backgrounds, genders, ages and experience.

'We are all born storytellers. Storytelling is how we make sense of the world, who we are, where we are going and how we communicate this to others, personally or professionally.

Storytelling underpins everything we do: entertainment, education, healing, activism.

Our belief systems are stories, every algorithm tells a story. The myths, legends, folk and fairy tales that every culture has left behind are all "the distilled essence of human experience.'
